Had the gnocchi with short-rib ragu, the handkerchief pasta with crab meat, and the insalata di formaggio and was totally disappointed by everything.
The unappealingly huge plate of gnocchi was too gummy and drenched in sweet bbq-flavored sauce. The salad was boring. The Handkercheif pasta was just okay.
Maybe the thing here is the brick oven pizza? Even if I did order wrong, I won't be back. To come up so short on pasta dishes at an Italian restaurant is a deal-breaker in my book.
That said, the ambiance was very stylish, almost upscale, with exposed brick walls, tinted mirrors, and soft lighting.
Don't go for the food, but curious to hear about the pizza and other non-pasta offerings.
