Stylish place, good for special occasions, but very quiet. The sushi is good, but the atmosphere is the main draw.
To add to that, it should be known that the atmosphere is visually arresting and festive, which is a huge contrast to the quiet calm that pervades the space. The dining room is absolutely huge and elaborately, but still tastefully, decorated in a traditional, yet stylish way.
The lack of noise and activity, contrary to what you would assume, was quite disquieting actually. It gave the place a very serious feel.
If you love big over-the-top restaurants, but hate the noise, you will love this place. If you're most comfortable in a cozy nest of chatter, stay away.
