Well executed comfort food with unique touches that make it a little special. Fried green tomatoes with jalapeno sour cream were amazing.
Not to miss: the BEST pancakes in New York City.
Actually went here for dinner and thought the food was really good - solid comfort-food choices. Fried chicken was worth coming back for. Really relaxed vibe. Any place that offers scones in place of bread has good standing in my book...
In response to Jacob Sills, I actually thought the fried chicken at Clinton St. was mediocre. Didn't have the crispiness/crunch I was looking for. BUT, their jalapeno cornbread is out this world.
If you want some really good fried chicken in the area, head over to Marfa.
